Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source replacement side view mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side view mirror on your 2015 through 2017 Hyundai Sonata Eco. This is modeled after the Eco's original look and fit. So you really shouldn't be able to tell that it's a replacement mirror.

Should look like it came with your vehicle right from the factory. So you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard kind of look. It's going to all look integrated and seamless like it all belongs together.This does have the power remote capability so you can adjust the mirror face position from with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. Because this is a replica of your original, modeled after the original, it's going to fit in exactly like the original. So it's going to be very easy to get in place and to use that power remote capability.

You'll just have to plug it into the plug there, just like the original. So all you have to do is unplug the original. Take it off, put this one in its place and get it plugged in and you're ready to go.Now, a couple of things this one here will not do for you that your original might have been able to do. This does not have any memory support. So if you're used to having that memory function to adjust the mirror based on the driver, that won't be able to do that.

Also does not have a turn signal or a spotter mirror to it. So if you are used to having those on your original mirror, this will not give you those capabilities. And the power remote capability, of course will only work if your vehicle is already equipped with that functionality.But overall, this is a really nice mirror. OE grade products, so it's going to be the same quality materials as the original. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome so it's going to give you a nice, clear image.

It does have a convex lens, like most passenger side mirrors do to help reduce blind spots, make sure that you can see what's coming up behind you. It does have the breakaway design. So it will fold in on itself if you we're to run into the side of your garage or a parking post or something like that, that's to help try and absorb some of that impact to reduce the likelihood of damage to the mirror itself and just kind of absorb some of that. But this is a nice durable plastic housing. So it should hold up well, do a good job for you.This back cover can be painted if that would help it integrate more into your vehicle. You would have to worry a little bit about over-spray. So you might want to use some painter's tape or something like that to get it painted. But it is paintable. So if that will help to integrate it more.Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to be the mirror for you, this is going to be a direct replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you're going through your owner's manual, or when you pull off the original mirror, if you see that number anywhere you can trust this is going to be the replacement that you need.
